Airfield Lyon-La Valbonne was an airfield 25 kilometers northeast of Lyon in France.
The airfield was active in the 1930s as a flying school.
Instead of a runway it had a 1100x800m large flying field which was usable all year long, allowing takeoffs into the wind at any time.
No maps or photos of the airfield while in use have been located
Today the former airfield lies on the north side of the Camp Militaire de La Valbonne.
Currently it serves as a ammunitions storage facility for the 68th African Artillery Regiment (french: 68ème Régiment d'Artillerie d'Afrique) and the 3ème Régiment de Médical.

The airfield of Loyettes (french: Aérodrome de Loyettes) was an airfield 30 kilometers east of Lyon in France.
The airfield is listed as such at the French website anciens-aerodromes, but without any further information.
It was located on the bank of the Rhône River, upstream from Lyon.
No maps or photos of the airfield while in use have yet been located
Immediately to the east of the location of the former airfield (which has completely disappeared from aerial photography) lies the Bugey nuclear power plant.
The terrain itself has been converted to agricultural use.
